Chinese New Year at MG

This year's Chinese New Year fell on a Sunday (10 February) so on the second day of the Year of the Snake, MYP 1 student Yena prepared a Chinese New Year poster presentation, answering the questions What? When? Where? Why? and How?

After the Western and Chinese New Years, we are now looking forward to Nowruz, the Persian New Year, in March and Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, in September. In spite of many differences, all these festivals have so much in common and this cross-cultural aspect of life is what makes it so interesting and challenging.
