Percentages and statistics don't have to be dull!

In Math classes MYP2 students had an interesting group activity Trusting Tabloids where they learnt how tabloids presented information using percentages in everyday communication. They got the hang of percentages and then started gathering their own data to create statistics. They carried out a survey of their classmates and presented data by frequency graphs using the statistical software Mentimeter.

Secret Santa in MYP2

On December 12th the MYP2 students had their new annual tradition of Secret Santa. Two weeks in advance each student got a person from the class to give a present to. It was very fun and festive way to end the year. It was interesting to reflect on the great things that had happened and to look forward into the days that are ahead of us.

Winter Art Workshop at the library

In cooperation with the Nature Park Medvednica and as an integral part of the Service as Action Programme we organized the Winter Art Workshop at the school library on November 30th.

MYP1 and MYP2 students participated in the workshop where they designed and created Christmas and winter season greeting cards.

Second Visit to the Goethe Institute

On November 24th we visited the Goethe Institute accompanied by our German and homeroom teacher Ms. Jelena Penava.
